The gym

A considered space for serious training.

What we built and why

Other gyms are organised around equipment. We organised ours around you — specifically, around the fundamental ways the human body moves.

Every piece of equipment earns its place by serving one of those patterns. Storage designed so things are always where you expect them. An instruction board in every zone — a reference point wherever you are in your training.

Biophilic materials throughout — timber, plants, natural light from outside. Not because it photographs well, but because the space you train in affects how you feel about training. It matters.

The training floor

Laid out by how you move, not by equipment type.

A balanced programme is easier to build here — and easier to stick to. You're not hunting for the right machine. You go to the zone for the movement you're training, and everything you need is there.

Each zone has its own instruction board: the exercises, the technique cues, the difficulty progressions.

The zones.

Cardio zone — treadmills, ellipticals and rowers with timber planter boxes and floor-to-ceiling windows

Zone 00

Cardio

Treadmills, ellipticals, bikes, rowers. Cardio strengthens the heart and lungs — and sets you up for everything else.

Core zone — timber ab machine, Swiss balls, flat bench and mirrors reflecting the training floor

Zone 01

Core

Holds, carries, crunches, rotation, anti-rotation. A full range of core work, with floor space to do it in.

Hip hinge zone — full range of kettlebells on timber bench, barbell rack and back extension

Zone 02

Hip hinge

Deadlifts, kettlebell swings, good mornings, back extension, hip thrust. The posterior chain, done properly.

Knee dominant zone — leg press, leg extension, Smith machine and power rack

Zone 03

Knee dominant

Squats, leg press, Smith machine, leg extension and curl. Everything the lower body needs.

Upper body push and pull zone — Inotec functional training rig with cable systems, pull-up bars and gymnastics rings

Zones 04 & 05

Upper body push & pull

Inotec functional rig, cables, pull-up bars, gymnastics rings, chest press, rows. The two zones sit adjacent and overlap by design.

Exercise instruction

Zones 01–05 each have a board. A map for wherever you are.

Think of the instruction boards as a periodic table for movement. Together, the five boards cover everything your body needs.

Each board is custom — photographed in the actual gym, using the actual equipment. Exercises are grouped by type and ordered by difficulty, with technique cues that are brief and specific.

A place to start, a path to progress, and options when you're ready for something different. You're never just guessing.
